Who signed the execution order of “Pakhsan Azizi”? / Morteza Hamounian

118 years have passed since the Constitutional Revolution in Iran; a revolution that one of its ideals was to achieve “fairness” through the people. But the problem is that since then, whenever there has been oppression and rights have been violated, they have either ignored the law or created a legal garment by force; a garment that, of course, reflects a special and dire situation. In this more than one hundred years, either military courts have illegally prosecuted non-military personnel, or “Ahmadi doctors” with their deadly needles, or completely destroyed the post-constitutional judicial system that took place after the February 57 revolution, and a judicial system was established that had astronomical distances from the usual judiciary in the modern world. In this new judiciary, under the name of ruling by Sharia, the personal opinions of some of the clergy became the basis, and judges who easily take the lives of people; bitter stories that began with “Khalakhali” and continued with “Mohammadi Gilani

I asked the honorable judge: Have you seen my films?

He said: No…

I said: So how do you want to judge?

He said: “Analyzing security devices about movies is enough for me.”.»

“Judge Afshari, in the position of judge of Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran, has a long history of suppressing women’s rights and women activists, especially opponents of mandatory hijab in Iran. “Atena Daemi” and “Golrokh Iraee” are among the activists who have been sentenced to prison by him.

In a specific case in 1398, he sentenced three women’s rights activists and opponents of mandatory hijab named “Farzaneh Didehni”, “Saba Kord Afshari” and “Raheleh Ahmadi” (mother of Saba Kord Afshari) to a total of 58 years in prison. Also, in 1398, the sentence of “Asrin Derakhaleh”, “Nahid Shaqaqi”, “Maryam Mohammadi” and “Akram Nasirian”, women activists and members of the “Iranian Women’s Cry

Is blinding my eyes not enough? You took my eyes, but are still after tormenting and harassing me… Has the position of the accuser and the accused changed???

This machine does not have any human rights. Baha’i women like “Friba Kamalabadi” and “Mahvash Sabet” who were victims of the injustice of the regime and were each sentenced to 10 years in prison, as well as teachers, directors, and all members of different social classes, especially women, have been the target of inhumane laws of the regime. At the time of writing this text, women like “Zahra Shafiei”, a writer and documentary filmmaker, “Azadeh Abedini” and many others whose names we may not know, are at risk of severe and inhumane punishments, like the execution sentence of Parisa Azizi, a sentence against a female activist.

After spending nearly a year in detention, Parisa Azizi, in an open letter from Evin Prison titled “Concealing the Truth and Its Alternatives,” mentions various forms of torture she has experienced in solitary confinement and inhumane conditions
