The relationship between interests and needs in the approach to developing textbooks / Aziz Qasemzadeh.

This is a picture of a beautiful flower.
Dear Ghasem Zadeh

From the establishment of the first elementary and secondary schools in 1276 to the first books in Darolfonoon in 1230 until today, which has seen a vast explosion of information through the use of technology, a long way has been traveled. With this description, it is possible to examine the relationship between many books and the interests and needs of students. It seems that in our time, this achievement has been insignificant. In recent years, I had a student in school who had migrated from Sweden. This student was almost average in terms of academic performance, and I was always surprised that a student who had come from Sweden should be much stronger than the others, but why was this student not so? One day, I asked him about this, and his answer was very interesting; he mentioned some books and said that he didn’t understand why he had to read them. He also said that we didn’t have so many books there. There were only a few limited books with a workshop

The first factor was the translation of various subjects from Western culture to Iran, and due to the translation of these subjects, the crisis of titles became one of the main crises in the compilation of books. On the other hand, due to the limited resources in the 1950s, the distribution of books was not easy, but it was acceptable. Unfortunately, despite all the natural and intentional progress, it seems that the issue of book distribution should have been handled more leniently, but in some cases, it has been seen more than decades ago. It seems that the factor of changing research in determining educational topics has played a central role in fading students’ interests and lack of intellectual need for book topics, especially in the fields of humanities and literature. In July 1976, the law on the establishment of the Research and Educational Innovation Organization considered any educational and curricular planning based on valid research and even disregarded the opinions of experts and experienced individuals. This is while after the revolution,

Final words: More than necessary, there should be courage in critical review among researchers and professionals in the process of writing books. The approach to writing books should also make the process smoother by focusing on the principles of writing, not just the details.
