We know that those who wrote the Declaration of Human Rights, and natural philosophers in the West, when defining rights for humans, recognized these rights as contradictory and conflicting with each other. Not only that, but they also saw the rights of each individual in conflict and contradiction with the rights of others. For example, the right to ownership is defined based on the principle of interests, and you may have noticed that there are conflicts within the nature of interests. Each individual competes with others to protect their own interests or their own rights. Now, what consequences does this competition create? It is something that we are witnessing in the world today, unspoken. Hobbes also provides a clear example of the contradiction and conflict between the right derived from life and the right derived from freedom in his book Leviathan. He says that any person who is in prison has the right to kill their prison guard in order to free themselves from prison. From the perspective of the prisoner, their right to freedom takes precedence over
