Capital; a series that had no water for the people but had bread for the radio and television/ Parvaneh Ahmadi

In recent years, the television series “Paytakht” has always been a subject of attention with its social and political statements. Despite attracting a large audience, the seventh season of this series received criticism from viewers. Many viewers criticized the decline in the quality of writing. They believe that without Khashayar Alvand (one of the writers of the first five seasons, except for the second season), the actors have become victims of bad dialogue. Despite the decline in the quality of writing in the seventh season, there has been no criticism of the actors, and perhaps the only thing that made this season attractive to viewers was the preservation of the actors’ identity in their performances. The positive aspect that was noteworthy was the actors’ improvement in their roles in recent seasons, which can be said to have saved the seventh season. The memorable performance of the actors in this series since 1390 has revived a sense of nostalgia in people’s hearts, but excessive advertising has influenced the excitement of the audience

The continuation of the series “Peytakht” shows that the national television is no longer able to attract viewers like before, as it cannot compete with series like “Mokhtarnameh”. On the other hand, the long and wide reach of the national television does not guarantee success for directors and writers who are not able to capture the audience’s attention. Therefore, directors like Sirus Moghaddam and actors like Mohsen Tanabandeh are among the few pieces that can be utilized.

One of the viewers of the seventh season of the series “Peytakht” believes that, alongside the weak writing of this season, it seemed that only the opening title of the series kept the memories of the north alive. He says, “In previous seasons, the audience could feel more moisture and greenery of the north. The outdoor space was used more in the series and we could see the alleys, streets, and northern houses and imagine them. Niki, the ordinary character, used a bicycle in previous seasons and because of his cycling, the camera showed a wider space. When the northern space was shown to the audience, it seemed that the accents became more real and northern. But in this season, most of the scenes were filmed inside the house and it seemed that, unlike the past, the characters of the series did not have a northern atmosphere. However, the interesting part of the story can be seen in a scene where Behzad Fariba was arguing with

Arash Abbasi, the writer of the series “Peytakht”, also reacts to the criticism of some critics about the poor writing of this season in an interview with the film media “Filmrooz” and Houshang Golmakani and says: “In my opinion, Peytakht 7 is not a good series and it is a bad series. Mohsen Tanabandeh designs the main story. I couldn’t handle the stress and I wanted to see Behnaz Fariba in the series as soon as possible so I could breathe easily. The writing formula for Peytakht is different from all other series. 98% of what is played is written on paper and Tanabandeh has also added dialogue to the script, but the dialogue is not too improvised. (He says without mentioning his salary) Tanabandeh has brought his brand to this series and television. The last thing comedy needs is to be polite. We were writing the

One of the scenes that has received a lot of attention is the entrance of the son (Ous Mossi) in the role of a clergyman. Although the presence of clergy has been noticeable in previous parts, it seems that showing a young seminary student in less than ideal economic conditions, while his father works as a laborer, was one of the most debated topics in the seventh chapter. Along with this scene, the ending of the film at the shrine of the eighth Shia Imam can be mentioned. A few minutes without dialogue and only showing scenes of the shrine did not meet the expectations of the audience and it seemed that the writer needed an element to cover the characters’ behavioral changes, as it did not seem in previous chapters that Bahattash Fariba could easily accept her mother’s marriage, or that Naki, the ordinary person, could easily overlook the rights that were taken away from him. On the other hand, the series could not increase from 22 episodes to 23

Aside from the (positive or negative) feedback from the general public who watched the series, the impact of this season on viewers is also noteworthy, which can be seen among the online advertisements and profiteering of brokers. In many advertisements for vacation villas, the address and location of the “Peytakht” series have been mentioned. In one of these advertisements, the person who introduces themselves as the owner of the “Naghi” and “Homa” house has priced the rent for one night at 39 million and 350 thousand tomans. (2).

Another group of online advertisements is related to the sale of meteorites. In less than a few days, a wave of strange ads can be seen on buying and selling websites. From Sheypoor and Divar to other platforms, they are filled with stones that are now proudly called meteorites. A simple search on Sheypoor revealed that over a thousand ads for the sale of meteorites have been uploaded to the site in just one week, covering even the most remote border cities to Tehran. In the midst of this hot trend, the market for brokers has also taken off, with some ads claiming to be able to introduce your stone to Arab sheikhs for sale. (3) The deputy of the Tehran Production and Information Exchange Police, in the course of cracking down on the sale of meteorites, announced the identification and arrest of three “virtual smugglers” and said: These criminals took advantage of the opportunity by posting fake ads for buying and selling meteorites at astronomical prices on social
