Crisis Management Crisis/ Javad Lal Mohammad

This is a picture of a beautiful sunset in the mountains.
Javad Lal Mohammad

I do not believe that the adventure of the sky will distract the curious officials of the crisis-stricken Islamic Republic system and enlighten the hearts of Iranians. The one hundred and one thousand (1) deaths caused by earthquakes in the past forty years show that people have been lost behind the concerns and entanglements of the rulers. The wonder of each time the government of the system faces disasters and expands past experiences and the indifference of nature, it testifies to the ease of constantly escaping responsibility.

Allow me to express a precise and mature standard for this major error. Last year or a little before that, in the midst of the dust storms in Khuzestan, the Deputy for Prevention of the National Crisis Management Organization stated in a sermon: “Iran ranks fourth among the most dangerous countries and more than 80% of the country is threatened by earthquakes, floods, and droughts” (2). Also, a while ago, the representative of Dezful had said: “The crisis organization, which lacks budget and resources, is better off being dissolved” (3). During this time, the president of the Crisis Management Scientific Association had also criticized the dark shadow of politicization dominating the country’s crisis management and incidents, stating that “unfortunately, dealing with incidents is still based on outdated procedures and studies and mapping of hazards have no place in our country” (4).

Although I have no doubt in the guidance of the Deputy of the Crisis Management Organization, there is no one to ask “what are the benefits of sitting on this chair?” Sitting on this chair and speaking without proper research and reflection is not acceptable and will have negative consequences. If you are suffering from structural instability and the political knowledge governing this organization is not enough, why are you sitting on this throne and causing the misfortune of the people? For forty years, floods, earthquakes, and fires have been bombarding the people, and your indifference is also bombarding them. Whatever we look at during these days, natural and unnatural disasters, floods, earthquakes, landslides, fires, plane crashes, building collapses, road and rail accidents, the greatest crises have been related to crisis management. It seems that there is no cure for this incurable disease and only campaigns, associations, and charities should be the remedy for the pains of our compatriots. So where are those inactive organizations whose false

It is not right to say that the drought has passed and yet people are still struggling to get oil. Neither the lives nor the possessions and capital of the people matter; even their survival is ignored. 35 trillion tomans of damage from floods and billions of tomans of damage from earthquakes and previous disasters. There is no sign of development. The makeshift tents of Warzeghan are still standing and Halabi Abad is still a hub for potential future disasters; the clerics speak of divine blessings and the neglect of God takes precedence over action in the authorities; the joy and liveliness of life has been buried by the people. What a lifeless spring it was! We didn’t see any Eid or happiness. The clothes are the same as last year and the hustle and bustle of lining up for Brazilian meat is a show for the people. The small and large gifts have become a help for the flood victims and the poor who have gone from Golestan to Khuzest

Believe me, I have not lost my mind. I do not know how to love the darkness. I am not in crisis to write more about it. But what I have seen in these days also darkens the preserved tablet. The fundamental challenges have taken hold of people and the government’s inability to provide basic and essential services to society increases instability day by day. And what I have said is from sincere concern and nothing more.

By the way, let me praise the valuable services of the men of the army in the tragedy of the flood and take off my hat in respect for their selfless and sincere services.
