“To the dream of women, my land”<\/em><\/p>\n

I have told our daughter<\/p>\n

These days,<\/p>\n

You come back home and<\/p>\n

Her eyes<\/p>\n

That can’t wait<\/p>\n

Take you from the door and<\/p>\n

Read poems for you;<\/p>\n

I had said, is she a poet?<\/p>\n

Your daughter is a poet<\/p>\n

And the poems that all these years<\/p>\n

In familiar times<\/p>\n

And in unexpected times<\/p>\n

I whispered to you<\/p>\n

I still whisper to her.<\/p>\n

Your daughter is beautiful, a dream<\/p>\n

She has inherited your genes, she is beautiful like you<\/p>\n

She likes to read genetics but<\/p>\n

She shouldn’t sigh, dream<\/p>\n

Your daughter is crying<\/p>\n

It’s the same every year<\/p>\n

I said you come back<\/p>\n

At night, you weave the story of her long hair.<\/p>\n

When I look at her<\/p>\n

I remember you, I cry<\/p>\n

Maybe she misses you<\/p>\n

She asks me: who is my mother!<\/p>\n

How is my mother!<\/p>\n

What does she look like!<\/p>\n

Which picture is my mother!<\/p>\n

Mother! Mother is a minority<\/p>\n

Mother!<\/p>\n
